Multi-Regional Initiatives

Southern Alberta Alternative Energy Partnership (SAAEP)

The SAAEP Partnership started in 2006 and represents 37 municipalities in southern Alberta. It's objective is to grow our region as an alternative energy provider. 

Crown of the Continent Geotourism Council

The Crown of the Continent regions, which include Alberta SouthWest, are working together to develop special trans-boundary and international visitor experiences. 

Peaks to Prairies

Multiple organizations came together to develop and grow a regional electric vehicle charging station network, connecting communites south of Calgary to bolster the local economy.
